Subject    Any non-defamatory spiritual, religious or magical theme.   
Presentation:  In English, typed, double spaced on one side only of undecorated A4. Pages to be held with paper clips only.
Entry Fee:      £2 per entry plus appropriately stamped SAE for return. (NO entry fee payable if you quote your current AEW membership number)
Cheques payable to  Association of Esoteric Writers
Optional Critique:  £1.50 per MS (payable by ALL entrants)
Multiple Submissions:  Accepted provided that the correct entry fees, etc., accompanies each entry.
Copyright.  Remains with author, but competitors should understand that the work might appear in the anthology or AEW journal (Broom Cupboard) . Should this occur, they would receive a complimentary copy of the relevant publication in which their work appears.
Entry Form:  Not required, but a cover sheet with competitor's name, address, line count, title of work and first line MUST accompany each entry. UNDER 16'S Please get your parent/guardian to countersign your cover sheet with their name. Typescripts must not carry any identifying marks of the author.

Prizes:   Three prizes to be awarded in each category, plus publication in the Poetry anthology (if your work appears you will receive a free copy).

NOTES:  No correspondence shall be entered into & the judge's decision is final. Failure to comply with entry requirements will result in disqualification and entry fees are not returnable.  In the rare event of there being insufficient entries to constitute a fair competition entries will be held over until the next closing date.
